I have had bi-lateral knee replacements. I have done every thing that the doctors have told me to do to get in and stay in shape. My husband bought me a beach bike for our trips to the beach, as that is one of our favorite things to do. Imagine how disappointed to find I was unable to ride my bubble gum pink beach bike-a Christmas present. Well, this Christmas I will be purchasing the stabilizer wheels to get going again. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Thank you all for realizing the need for these "adult training wheels"!

We purchased the stabilizer wheels 3 years ago for our Autistic daughter. She is now 16 and loves riding her bike. She has confidence that she will not fall.
We are very grateful to have these wheels. My daughter was never able to transition away from training wheels. This gives her a sense of freedom that you cannot put a price on! Thank you for a great product. For those who wonder if they ship to Canada yes they do and the service is great!
Sincerely,
Susan Dunn

I seffered a head injury, That left me with a balance problem. I bought a stabilizer wheel kit near a year ago. After toasting my Trike. Which I road for a few years. It was limited and didn't give me the bike riding experiance that I was missing. Peior to ordering I did some tinking n reserch. As I notice a gap between the bike frame n the outer wheels, "10" on ethere side. Which I neared filled with a "Wald's Large rack n baskets".I installed them on a old 3sp that I had n discovered that there's some similar in handleing, As to a trike. If not worse. Handleing a bike takes a combination of leaning n turning. So I raised the stabilizers a 1/4" on ether side. Tuns are a bit wide still. But more mernoveable n more like a bike riding experiance then the trike. I now have them on a 26" 21sp MTB/cRUISER. I do most of commuting, shopping and go on 10 to 20 mile rides. Even ride off road on dirt roads. There is some similarities as a trike. Turning, Brakeing, Rideing on uneven ground n a wide or wider back-in 20-26 inches. Depending on style of bike frame".
Here is some "TIPs". First get a helmet and wear it when on bike. For better handleing raise the stabilizers to your convert n handleing ablility. When turnig lean to the in-side of the turn n do not brake hard when turning. When rideing over uneven ground or when your feeling like your going to tip over. Turn in the direction of the tip n ride it out. If it is safe to. For the wide back-in, Get a handlebar just as wide or wider then the back-in. install them on women's style bike, "Low step through" Easier on n off.
I'm am enjoying bike rideing again n feel safer then I did on the trike. I would recomend the stabilizer over a trike. I tink that the stabilizer's were design for for pepole with sever balance problem. But allow for adjustment for dose with less of a balance problem n are more comfortable n capable for less stabilness.
CON: They are kinda haevy, But then mayby you can"t h

We purchased these for my mom, who is a stoke patient, and she is now able to ride her bike again. They are very sturdy and provide great support to the bike. We will continue to promote them within our community, thanks for a great product!

The stablilizer wheel kit was easy to assemble and place on the bike. It provides the stability needed for a person to ride a 26" bicycle. My son is now able to ride a bike again.
